About CWF

Dallas AwardThe Clean Water Foundation of Washington is a State of Washington non-profit corporation set up to deliver safe, clean water to children and others around the world. CWF is a registered 501(3)(c), tax-deductible, charitable organization.

The United Nations estimates that more than 1 billion people do not have access to safe, clear water. More than 2 million children die each year from a water-borne illness. And more than 50% of the hospital beds around the world are for people with water-borne illnesses.

CWF is small organization with global ambitions to tackle a public health problem that kills millions of children each year. Water borne illnesses hit these children because have no source of safe, clean drinking water to break the cycle of sickness. Too many children die simply for the lack of safe, clean water.

The Clean Water Foundation is coming up with innovative, creative approaches to this global health issue. Teaming with World Vision and others, CWF is able to bring state-of-the-art water purification technology to otherwise neglected or overlooked corners of the world.

By raising money from individuals, corporations and other foundations, CWF is bringing a life-changing resource to millions of children and their families to break the devastating cycle of water-borne illnesses that haunt the lives of millions around the globe.
